The 2023 hike in Gran Canaria 🇪🇸
In 2023, me and my significant other (Kaya) went on a hiking trip to Gran Canaria, hiking from north to south. In this extensive blog post I report on the adventures we encountered day by day. From getting lost, to life-changing events and horrifying animal noises, all is passing by! For every day, Kaya also made a vlog that you can watch on YouTube (Dutch, but English subtitles). Building this website (from scratch)
Building this website has been a bit of a journey. In this blog post, I will take you along this journey (as far as I remember things) and hopefully give you some useful tips in case you want to go for the same challenge as I went for. From starting with a site-builder like HUGO, to writing it yourself using classic HTML, figuring out how the heck you get it online and eventually building my own site-builder. Read it here, enjoy!
My 2021 holiday in Iceland 🇮🇸
During the summer of 2021, just after the Netherlands was released from lockdown, we (my partner Kaya, friend Thomas and me) went on a hiking trip in Iceland. In this blog post, I take you along the days of our itinerary. We come across colorful mountains, boiling puddles and a million waterfalls.
